City of Las Vegas Business License Instructions
Sightseeing Bus or Limousine


Any person who operates a transportation service utilizing buses or limousines to transport passengers for hire, but which is not operated over fixed routes or between pre-established points.

1. Confirm the proposed business location is within the Las Vegas city limits and properly zoned for this activity. 2. Provide proof of compliance with the Nevada Secretary of State located at 555 East Washington Avenue, Suite 5200, Las Vegas, Nevada 89101. 3. Apply with the State of Nevada Transportation Authority. The Nevada Transportation Authority is located at 2290 South Jones Boulevard, Suite 110, Las Vegas, Nevada 89146. For more information call (702) 486-3303.

4. 30 days prior to commencing business, bring a completed license application and all applicable items listed above to the Business Licensing Division, 333 N. Rancho Drive, Las Vegas NV 89106.

5. Complete a wastewater profile for non-residential establishments. This can be accomplished at the time the business license application is submitted. Contact the City of Las Vegas Environmental Division at (702) 229-6594 for additional information.

6. Fees due with the application are $50.00 per vehicle + $50.00 processing fee. Make checks payable to CITY OF LAS VEGAS LICENSE.

7. Business license applications are sent to the Planning Department and Fire Department for review and inspection. Upon approval from these agencies and completion of all items listed above, the Business Licensing Division will issue your business license.
