Real Estate Business comprised of one or more professionals created for the purpose of practicing the profession for which a license, certificate, registration, permit or similar type of authorization is issued by a regulatory body as defined in NRS title 54, chapter 622 or regulated pursuant to the Nevada Supreme Court Rules, for any type of compensation.

1. Confirm the proposed business location is within the Las Vegas city limits and properly zoned for this activity, if applicable. 2. Obtain a Real Estate License from the Real Estate Division of the Nevada Department of Business & Industry. Call (702) 486-4033 for additional information. The Real Estate Division is located at 2501 East Sahara Avenue, Ste. 300, Las Vegas, Nevada, 89104.

3. Provide proof of compliance with the Nevada Secretary of State located at 2250 Las Vegas Boulevard North, North Las Vegas, Nevada 89030. Provide proof of compliance with the Nevada Department of Taxation located at 555 East Washington Avenue, Suite 1300, Las Vegas, Nevada 89101. 4. 30 days prior to commencing business, apply on-line at https://DSCportal.LasVegasNevada.gov.

5. All fees are due at the time the license application is submitted. There is a non-refundable application fee of $50.00, and the annual license fee is based on the number of agents employed (W2 employees) at the rate of $200 for the first broker and $150 for each additional agent.

6. Business license applications are sent to the Planning Department and Fire Department for review and inspection, if applicable. Upon approval from these agencies and completion of all items listed above, the Business Licensing Division will issue your business license.
